Set the Table: Spring Soiree

Spring has finally sprung! The weather in LA has been breezy and sunny making us crave outdoor dinner parties and laid-back entertaining with friends, so this holiday weekend couldn’t come at a better time.

We’re excitedly gearing up for Easter Sunday and getting inspired by crisp color palettes of blue, green, pink, and yellow and lush spring blooms. It’s all about layers of pattern, vibrant colors, and lush greenery for us this season. We’ve gathered our fav tablescapes and a few tips for entertaining to help you host an unforgettable Spring soiree!

Love this combo of fine china and D. Porthault linens mixed with the rustic look of the potted herbs.

It doesn’t get any better than this sweet and colorful tablescape by Tory Burch.

Fill an oversize bowl with a grouping of bright pink and yellow tulips for a splash of color.

Mix cute patterns like stripes, fretwork, and polka dots for a playful look.

Repurpose cloth napkins by printing your menu on them…so cute & clever!

Host an outdoor gathering in the garden surrounded by lush greenery and spring blooms (if the weather permits!)

A perfect bubbly bar set-up for your Easter brunch.

  3. Tomorrow I will post more yellow bedrooms… but with punches of color. I have also been collecting images for purple and white, and pink and white bedroom posts – stay tuned! What is your favorite color combination for the bedroom?

  4. The fam & I had a really nice weekend, it was full of parties with friends & family with a cold drink in hand. Saturday was a surprise 50th / family reunion pool party, my kids were in heaven, spending 5 1/2 hours playing in the pool. Sunday was spent at another birthday party for my bestie neighbour friend, let me just say that we had a total blast, singing and dancing in the kitchen until 1am. Thankfully my kids spent the night at their Nana’s house. This heat & humidity has been insane, it makes me want a pool – kinda.

  5. Tim Willoughby is a photographer I found in Charleston. His ability to capture timeless, breathtaking images sold me immediately. Having him in Chattanooga for the weekend made me so calm. I didn’t have to worry if he was getting all of the right images because I knew he was. He was able to see all of the things I couldn’t. Over time, memories fade, and it gave me peace of mind knowing I would have his photos to look at forever.
