I promised I would give you the inside deets on where to find everything seen in the beautiful Julie Chang‘s apartment revealed last week on the blog and I’m here to deliver. It was such a fun challenge designing this project on a small budget and an even SMALLER time frame. Needless to say our team had to get pretty creative…we’re talking scouring everything from Etsy to Homegoods!
I’m going to kick it off by taking you through the Great Room, which includes her dining room, living room, fireplace, and bar. Check out how we made her space look like a million bucks by using MUCH less:
Living Room: rug – Celerie Kemble by Merida (Catalyst in Blue Stone) / sofa – Sofa U Love / chairs – garage sale find / coffee table – West Elm / poufs – One Kings Lane (similar here) / floor lamp: CB2 / mirror: HomeGoods / paint: “Calm” by Benjamin Moore
photography print – Roberto Dutesco / snakeskin tray / pillows – remnant fabric
Dining Room: chairs – World Market / table – vintage from House Candy LA / photography print – Roberto Dutesco / rope chandelier – vintage / Malachite Bowl
Bar: Gold Coin Glasses / Turquoise Stem Glasses / Gold Ice Bucket / Brass Sailboat / Clear Mixer / frames – Ikea / paint – “Stormy Monday” by Benjamin Moore
Fireplace: mirror – vintage / frames – Ikea / orhid – Trader Joe’s / Vintage Brass Ram
