Inspiration is everywhere! My heart skipped a beat when I saw an ad for Essie’s new nail polish collection in Elle. I’m just crazy for the blue, green and greige palette!

And just like paint chips, these nail polish colors have THE BEST names…Dive Bar, Turquoise & Caicos, Armed and Ready, Sew Psyched, Mezmerized and Trophy Wife. Are you kidding me?! Jamaican me crazy! These are all hues that work perfectly together in a chic L.A. home.

In fact, the color scheme is very reminiscent of this sophisticated yet chic living room that we did recently for a client (Hillary Thomas Designs).

Can’t you can see ‘Trophy Wife’ and ‘Turquoise & Caicos’ on the arm chairs, bright pops of ‘Mezmerized’ in the bowls on the table, and hints of ‘Trophy Wife’, ‘Armed and Ready’ and ‘Sew Psyched’ in the accessories?
