Have you seen Hank Azaria’s home featured in Architectural Digest? It is to die. for. All the talk of the practicality and comfort had our hearts beating faster, as we love a home that embraces the meaning of wabi sabi—finding beauty in the imperfect—and especially one that does it in Bel Air.
As if this outdoor space didn’t have us at hello, the interiors are equally stunning, yet also homey and lived-in. Trip Haenisch, the decorator, gave the best quote to AD, saying: “The house was a bit slick. We decided we had to organic it up.” Take, for example, this adorable playroom for Azaria’s son, featuring a table that Haenisch gave a checkerboard top. How fun is that?!
We also love these two bedrooms, which—believe it or not—actually both feature Hillary Thomas Design custom bedding!
Is anyone else eyeing the swirls of color in that rug or the happy lime green pattern of the wall covering? We can’t seem to look away!
Head over to the Architectural Digest website for a full slideshow of fab spaces from Azaria’s chic Bel Air digs.
